Premium Weather Update August 7, 2026
Good afternoon! Surface high pressure across the region keeps us mostly settled through early next week. We run the risk of afternoon widely placed showers & storms through early next week. Today through Tuesday feature the highest humidity with afternoon heat index values 92-99. A Heat Advisory is in place through tomorrow evening. A few storms have the potential to produce strong to damaging wind gusts this afternoon. A robust cold front moves through early next week offering more widespread storms with lower humidity to follow for later next week.
