Premium Weather Update October 2, 2026
Happy Friday! Besides a few minor systems offering light rain to the region today, Sunday afternoon into early Monday morning; surface high pressure keeps us settled. This afternoon & evening a cold front moves through from the eastern Great Lakes offering hit & miss showers & even a low risk of a thunderstorm or two. No strong to severe storms are expected. It feels like summer today with high temperatures in the lower 80s along with a muggy airmass. Seasonable temperatures arrive tomorrow & stay with us through late next week with some energy passing by to our south offering some showers Sunday night through Monday early morning.
