Premium Weather Update July 22, 2026
Following yesterday’s heavy showers and thunderstorms, our weather pattern takes a complete turn. A few spotty showers and thunderstorms have flared up again this afternoonas some upper-level instability remains in place, but a stretch of beautiful weather follows. Humidity begins to ease today before dropping significantly tonight as a strong area of high pressure builds eastward from the Midwest, settling along the East Coast by late week. Seasonable temperatures and dry weather are expected through the weekend before the next storm system develops over the Upper Midwest. As it moves eastward, our weather turns more unsettled once again, with occasional showers and thunderstorms returning early next week.
