Premium Weather Update June 24, 2026

High pressure extends from the Great Lakes through the Tennessee Valley and Mid-Atlantic today, bringing dry and comfortable conditions across the Northeast. As the high gradually moves offshore, clouds and humidity will slowly increase tomorrow.

A rich supply of moisture and instability remains in place across the central United States and Southeast, and some of that will be drawn northeastward late this week. As a result, scattered showers are expected from Thursday Night through Saturday, though prolonged rainfall does not appear likely at this time. Generally warmer and drier conditions follow next week, though a few isolated rounds of showers may still develop from time to time.
